Journal

I keep notes here on updates to my projects. Sometimes I write a longer post about how I built something and why I made certain choices.

  1. Pencil

In Pencil, feedback analysis starts from the very first arrival: every piece of feedback gets sentiment and tags even before the owner claims the business, so the history is already there when they do. Themes are grouped by concept, so the same theme in different words is counted once, and recurring ones come out with numbers you can reason about.

  2. Menu Mensa

People who open Menu Mensa on their phone usually look for one thing: what's for lunch today, or on a specific day. For the 2026/27 school year I rebuilt the app starting from there. The main screen is the daily card… Continue reading

  3. Pencil

With self-service sign-up, merchants create their own business on Pencil and choose their plan, without going through support. Every new business is checked by the staff before it is activated. Applicants receive the… Continue reading

  4. Zampe Felici

A booking at a kennel almost always starts from a single sentence, like «Luna dal 5 al 10 ottobre», spoken on the phone or sent over WhatsApp. I made Zampe Felici start from exactly that. The + opens a single field: you… Continue reading

  5. L'Aquila 2026, Menu Mensa and Medici AQ are personal projects. I set up a Buy Me a Coffee page for people who use them and want to support them, and linked it from the footer of all three apps. I chose a simple link over… Continue reading

  6. Pencil

I added two comparison views to Pencil: on the dashboard, the “In città” card, which shows how the business ranks against similar ones in its area, and for franchisors a console with the network’s points of sale side by side, where those that receive no feedback stand out.

  7. Zampe Felici

People who work in a kennel use their phone between one box and the next, and on busy days arrivals and departures have to be logged quickly. I built the home page of Zampe Felici around the day. The Today screen shows… Continue reading

  8. le mie skill per Claude Code

I created a skill that prepares client documents as DOCX and PDF from a Word template, so the layout and letterhead stay intact even when the file is opened in Google Docs.

  9. Abruzzo Incoming

I hosted the Abruzzo Incoming fonts directly on the site, so the pages load them without requests to external services.

  10. Tokebì

I added reminder emails to Tokebì for people who haven’t verified their address, haven’t completed their profile or haven’t logged in for a while. Staff can edit their texts from the admin area.

  11. questo sito

I added an llms.txt guide to this site, along with a Markdown version of the About and Projects pages, so AI agents can read them without having to interpret the HTML.

  12. Menu Mensa

I brought the allergen filter in Menu Mensa to the foreground: the active selection always stays in view, and the dish cards name the allergens they contain.

  13. L'Aquila 2026

Many sports events in the L'Aquila area appear in no calendar. A road race or a tournament is announced in an article from a local paper, with the date written in the text. I added to L'Aquila 2026 an automatic reading… Continue reading

  14. le mie skill per Claude Code

I added to the ml-scaffold-wp skill the ability to restore an existing site from a backup.

  15. Medici AQ

I added the option to save followed doctors, notes and wait lists in the browser, so they stay available without creating an account.

  16. Pencil

I redesigned the Pencil dashboard with a plainer, printed-page style, and added a light/dark theme switch to every screen.

  17. Medici AQ

I put Medici AQ online, a small site for tracking changes to the list of family doctors and pediatricians in the L'Aquila area. Every morning it downloads data from the Abruzzo health portal and compares it with the… Continue reading

  18. questo sito

I decided to start this journal: short lines about what I ship, and the occasional longer piece when there's a choice worth explaining. I like the idea of a site that stays up to date naturally, just by working — without… Continue reading

  19. le mie skill per Claude Code

I published a skill that updates CLI, marketplaces, plugins and skills in one go, and lists at the end whatever is left to fix by hand. Along with it, I gathered the names of my skills under a single prefix to keep them tidy.

  20. le mie skill per Claude Code

I added a new skill that walks you step by step through upgrading a project’s dependencies.

  21. Pencil

Company comparison on Pencil now includes external reviews as well. When there is little data, it shows a lower confidence level.

  22. Pencil

In Pencil we decided to use receipts to verify purchases before customers leave feedback. Customers upload a receipt and can share their experience within a time limit set by the venue. Feedback stays private, and the… Continue reading

  23. Elleapostrofoa

I added the withdrawal button to comply with art. 54-bis of Legislative Decree 209/2025. It has an explicit confirmation step, clear labels and copy strictly in Italian.

  24. Pencil

I refreshed the Pencil panel: it now shows data trends over time, a feedback funnel and the report closing cycle. The PDF export got a brand-new layout too, aligned with the brand style.

  25. L'Aquila 2026

L’Aquila 2026 now aggregates events automatically from external sources (such as the regional tourism portal). I also made it possible for users to submit their own events, which go through a moderation queue before going live.

  26. Abruzzo Incoming

I added an interactive map to the Abruzzo Incoming tour archive, making it easier to explore what’s on offer across the region.

  27. Menu Mensa

I updated the dish cards in Menu Mensa: every dish now has its own reference icon and a table with the official LARN nutritional values.

  28. L'Aquila 2026

L’Aquila 2026 can now be queried by voice. I built an Alexa skill that tells you what’s on: just say «apri agenda L’Aquila».

  29. questo sito

I rebuilt my website in Astro. The old WordPress blog hadn't been updated in years and no longer reflected the projects I'm working on. I rewrote the bio, career history and project descriptions. Pages are generated when… Continue reading

  30. Elleapostrofoa

I switched on the automatic submission of electronic receipts to the Italian Revenue Agency for every e-commerce order, building a management queue to track their status.

  31. Menu Mensa

I added push notifications to Menu Mensa to keep subscribers up to date on the daily menu.

  32. Menu Mensa

I released an Alexa skill for Menu Mensa, so you can check what’s for lunch just by using your voice.

  33. Zampe Felici

I rewrote the booking flow on Zampe Felici: there’s now a guided path where owner and dog are picked in cascade, and if they don’t exist yet, you create them on the fly without ever leaving the screen.

  34. Elleapostrofoa

I integrated the SumUp POS terminal into Elleapostrofoa: every transaction is now matched automatically to its receipt, and I wrote a step-by-step setup guide.

  35. Elleapostrofoa

Made-to-order products on Elleapostrofoa now have a popup form to request a quote, with automatic email confirmations.

  36. L'Aquila 2026

I reworked the L’Aquila 2026 home page to show a daily selection of events with a short text summary. It now works offline and can be installed on iPhone.

  37. Zampe Felici

The Income section landed on Zampe Felici: payment history, outstanding balances and quick payment right from bookings. I also added financial indicators to the dashboard.

  38. L'Aquila 2026

I put L'Aquila 2026 online to gather events for the city's year as Italian Capital of Culture. They're published across different channels and can be hard to find. You can search the map, save favorites and add events to… Continue reading

  39. Menu Mensa

I turned Menu Mensa into a PWA: it now installs on your phone like a real app and works offline too.

  40. Pencil

I added weather data to Pencil’s business analytics dashboard, so you can cross revenue, reviews and weather conditions.

  41. Zampe Felici

I made Zampe Felici installable as a PWA on phones and tablets, so it opens straight from the home screen.

  42. Menu Mensa

I built Menu Mensa to check L'Aquila's school lunch menu on a phone, without opening the PDF and finding the right week each time. The site opens straight on today's lunch. I worked on extracting the tables from the… Continue reading

  43. Zampe Felici

Zampe Felici is live, the app I built for a dog boarding kennel. I designed it for people working around the kennels who mostly use their phones. They can manage clients, dogs, kennel assignments and payments from there… Continue reading

  44. Pencil

I built Pencil’s rewards system: the venue decides what to offer in exchange for feedback, and every redemption request goes through a dedicated approval flow.

  45. Pencil

The Pencil dashboard now analyzes feedback sentiment and, by crossing the data, suggests actions on the individual products sold. I also added the option to switch this analysis on or off item by item.

  46. Pencil

In Pencil, feedback now starts entirely from the receipt, uploaded as a photo or PDF. The system recognizes the products, checks the purchase is real, and only then lets you leave your opinion and unlocks the rewards.

  47. ESB Link

I synced ESB Link transfers with the Cessione API, handling beneficiary assignment computed by installment and type of ownership.

  48. Tokebì

I updated Tokebì to manage and split tax credits by yearly installment.

  49. Tokebì

I switched on the scoring algorithm in Tokebì: it computes each case’s score automatically and assigns a sequential number to sort them in the table.

  50. Tokebì

I added a contract cancellation procedure to Tokebì, usable even after the digital signature has been applied, to allow fixing mistakes in a case.

  51. Tokebì

I added the mandatory anti-money-laundering self-certification: it’s now required upfront, from both seller and buyer, before a credit transfer can be completed.

  52. Tokebì

Tokebì is officially in production! Document upload, the digital signature integration and the budget monitoring dashboard are all live.

  53. ESB Link

I introduced multi-tenant customization in ESB Link: the look and settings of the back-office now depend on the client company that logs in.

  54. Air2Bite

I improved the activation flow in Air2Bite: the form now lists the available packages. If the area isn’t covered, a contact form collects the lead.

  55. Tokebì

The purchase section is live on Tokebì: I prepared the credit catalog, the cart with its amounts summary and the automatic document generation system.

  56. ESB Link

I added anti-money-laundering checks to ESB Link for credit transfer cases managed on the platform.

  57. ESB Link

I updated the document generation system: it can now produce comfort letters too.

  58. ESB Link

I added transfer management to ESB Link, which can be started automatically or manually by the user.

  59. ESB Link

Person records now support multiple owners: alongside the main one I added co-owners, plus a new document format that can be attached to profiles.

  60. ESB Link

I added a tool to ESB Link to check ENEA PDFs in one click, without ever leaving the case sheet.

  61. ESB Link

I updated the work-progress module: it now includes the mandatory price-fairness certification.

  62. ESB Link

I released the SAL (work progress) module on ESB Link. The system now handles completion percentages, binding documents and phase transitions on its own.

  63. ESB Link

I added a preliminary feasibility phase to case management, tied to a validation note that updates the dossier automatically.

  64. ESB Link

I redesigned the case sheet on ESB Link: it now shows the full amounts table and the history of status changes, letting you move to the next phase right on the page.

  65. I’ve collected updates on my projects here from 2020 onwards, as far back as I can reconstruct them. I started making websites on my own in 2002, joined an agency in 2007 for six years before setting up my own business in 2014. Back then I uploaded everything over FTP, dragging a folder onto the server, without keeping a release history. There’s more about those years in About.
