How I work
What I can build for you, how we get started and how the price is set. Anything else, we cover in the first chat.
What I do
Custom back-office software. I build management tools around the way you already work: clients, orders, stock, payments. That’s how PPS for Prospero Equipment came about, along with the order system of The Mush! Company and Zampe Felici, for a dog boarding kennel.
Web apps and new products. I take an idea all the way to launch, and then through the first months of real use, when you find out what’s really needed. That’s what happened with Pencil and Tokebì.
Integrations. I connect the tools you already use: POS, e-invoicing, CRM, digital signatures, external services. In Elleapostrofoa, for example, every POS transaction is matched to its receipt on its own.
Websites and e-commerce. Websites and online shops, WordPress included, with what they need behind the scenes: multiple languages, reseller price lists, invoicing. Like Artemisia Liquori or Abruzzo Incoming.
Maintenance and evolution. I also look after software that’s already in use: I keep it up to date, fix what isn’t working and add features as they’re needed.
How we get started
- A chat. We talk on a video call or, if you’re around L’Aquila, we meet in person. You tell me what you need and we work out together whether I can help. It costs nothing.
- A written proposal. I send you what to build, in which phases, with timing and costs.
- A prototype, when it helps. If the idea is new, or it isn’t clear how the tool will be used, I start with a prototype you can try hands-on, with some help from AI too. When the work is well defined, like an integration or a website, we go straight to development.
- Development in small releases. Each piece reaches the people using it as soon as it’s ready, so corrections happen along the way and not all at the end.
- After launch. The software keeps living: with a maintenance plan we keep it up to date and help it grow.
What it costs
It depends on the work. A fixed price when the scope is clear from the start: a website, an integration, the first version of a well-defined app. By the hour, or with a block of hours, for maintaining and evolving software already in use, where the work changes from month to month.
Getting started
A couple of lines is enough: what you do, what you’d like to solve or build, and which tools you already use today, even if it’s a spreadsheet. You don’t need a full spec, and you don’t need to know how it’s done: we figure that out together in the first chat.
I work from L’Aquila: in person nearby, remotely anywhere. I reply within a couple of working days.
