About me

I started with paper and pencils, a love of drawing. Studying Management Engineering led me to explore processes, systems and automation. The web gave me a way to bring those interests together.

Today I work as a Product Engineer on management software and web applications. I start by looking at how people work: the steps they repeat, where they get stuck and the tools they already use. That helps me understand the problem and decide what’s worth building.

I also use AI to explore solutions, develop software and try things out. I decide what to keep, review the code and check that workflows actually work. Usability, accessibility, performance and readable code are part of that work, from the interface to the data.

I’m a partner at ESB Link, where we built the Superbonus case-management platform and Tokebì, a marketplace for trading tax credits. Together with my partners I also created The Mush! Company, where I build the software we use to manage orders.

My story

1. 2024–today

   Vibe coding & micro-apps

   With help from AI, I have fun building small apps for everyday problems, like the school canteen menu or the list of family doctors in my city.

2. 2021–today

   Partner and Product Engineer · The Mush! Company

   As operating partner, I write and maintain the internal back-office and the system that routes and processes our orders.

3. 2020–today

   Partner and Product Engineer · ESB Link

   Together with my partners we designed and built the multi-tenant platform for managing Superbonus cases. That experience also gave birth to Tokebì, a marketplace for trading tax credits.

4. 2015–2020

   Full Stack Developer · Zewig S.r.l.

   As a freelancer I designed and built PPS, the bespoke back-office Prospero Equipment used to track enquiries, price books and jobs, generating quotes and spec sheets as PDFs. Over the same years I built about ten WordPress sites for the agency's clients.

5. 2014–today

   Independent consultant

   After a year as a freelancer, in November 2014 I opened my sole proprietorship. I work as an independent consultant in L'Aquila, building websites, web apps and integrations. I specialized in modern PHP frameworks, and in my free time I write on my tech blog.

6. 2007–2013

   Full Stack Developer · Mister Wolf S.r.l.

   Six years of intense work in an agency. I wrote backend and frontend code, managed CMSs and learned to optimize projects for accessibility and search engines.

7. 2002–2007

   Freelance Web Designer

   My very first steps: I built static and dynamic websites, drew layouts, animated everything that could be animated and experimented with web marketing, while starting my studies in Management Engineering.
