What data, why, and on which basis

Contact form

Name, email, subject and message, provided by you voluntarily. They are used only to read your request and reply: steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Filling the form is optional; without a valid email I cannot reply.

Technical logs

The hosting infrastructure logs requests (including IP addresses) to serve the pages and protect them from abuse: legitimate interest in security and service continuity (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Theme preference

Your light/dark choice stays in your browser (key theme) and never reaches the server.

Where the data lives and who processes it

The site is published on Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA), which serves the pages and receives contact-form messages through Netlify Forms, acting as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. It is a US company: processing taking place in the United States rests on its data processing agreement and on the Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), a copy of which you can request at hello@manuelleone.it. Fonts, images and code are served from the site's own domain: your browser contacts no third-party services.

Form messages

Up to 24 months from the last exchange in the conversation, then deleted.

Technical logs

Handled by Netlify and kept for the time strictly needed for infrastructure security.

Theme preference

Until you clear it from your browser settings.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does not track visits, which is why there is no banner to accept. The only thing stored in your browser is the theme preference above: purely technical local storage.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing tohello@manuelleone.it; I reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).

Changes

Substantial changes are published here with a new version and date; previous versions remain reconstructible from the site's source history.
